Personality:
Briefly stated, Klug is a know-it-all smart-ass. He has some intellect, but he uses it to stand on top of others as he laughs at their incompetence. He does put effort into gaining the knowledge he has, but they are all based from the books in the library in Primp. There are things he definitely wouldn't know, but he's also a little too stuck up to admit that. What he knows, though, he will show off, thinking it's cool to know everything. It only comes off as being rude towards other people, and not a lot of his classmates like him because of this.

Klug tries to act more mature than he actually is, especially mental-wise. He wants to be a mature, cool guy that knows everything and can do everything. He's still a warlock-in-training, so obviously he's far from achieving that. He tries to act cool when his peers talk to him, putting them down for being so childish when they are. But when the same is done to him, though, he would end up lashing back at them for treating him like a baby. He certainly does have his immature side of falling into a whiny brat whenever things don't go along his way, or refusing to give up his favorite book no matter what the cost. There's also a close-mindedness where he refuses to think outside the box, such as refusing to believe Satan was real even if the real deal was standing in front of him and instead declaring that he was a cosplayer.

Being by himself for the majority of his lifetime, he doesn't really know how to interact with others. He acts rude and push people away partially because he's afraid to get used to having friends around. Being bullied in the past is still in his mind, as well as his ultimate goal of becoming the strongest warlock to get back at those bullies to show how great he's become. When people are nice to him, he becomes a bit unsure of how to act and end up pushing them away by acting rude and stuck up. There's also the naive side of him that wishes to have nice friends, like Amitie, which also makes him be a tad nicer to them when they come to him for help.

Klug tends to like things that are the complete opposite of himself. Being labeled as a "mister goody-two-shoes" by other students, he's seen as one who would never break rules and gets all his homework done on time. Klug completes all assignments and stays cooped up in the library whenever he has free time in pursue of becoming a successful and powerful wizard, not exactly to set a good example for others. Instead, he thinks bad things--like rule-breaking, evil masterminds and so forth--are cool, something that he wishes to be once he becomes a powerful wizard. The studious part of him is what keeps him away from actually going down the road (yet), as studying and gaining knowledge comes first for him.

Backstory:
Klug was never the obnoxious Glasses in the past. As a small child, he was a quiet, rather timid child from a rich family that was always busy with work. Being shorter than everyone else, along with being a nerdy one with glasses, he was often picked by his peers. Klug spent his early days quietly plotting how to take over the world as he took refuge in the town library of Primp to get away from the bullies. The quiet atmosphere of the library saved him from getting beaten up. This made him pick up the habit of visiting the library every day, reading every book he could get his hands on. The day he changed was when he ran into a particular red book. The red book, a book that seals a soul inside, had a demon spirit sealed within it. Though he didn't realize there was a spirit sealed inside, he did sense some power held within it. The mysterious powers is what turned him into the Klug he is now, obnoxious, rude, bookworm studying to become a successful warlock, to get back at all the bullies that had bullied him when he was younger.

A chance to achieve his wish of becoming successful came one day when Ms. Accord, the Primp Magic School's teacher, gave all her students an assignment: to find her feather wand. Being one of the top students in the school (supposedly), he was able to detect where the feather wand was quickly. He had overestimated a little too much, though; obnoxious part of him ran his mouth towards his classmates, Amitie and Raffine, boasting at how he was able to pinpoint the location of the wand and even telling them that he would tell the whereabouts if they could defeat him in a puyo match. They get their wish and Klug was forced to tell them his findings, and missed his chance. He gave up on getting the wand himself shortly after and returned to studying every day.

His studying was put on hold one day when he found a journal containing information regarding the book he had kept with himself since the first day he had found the book. He was immediately absorbed into the journal, trying to decode the wordings since parts of could not be read. He came to the conclusion that the demon spirit he had been talking with was indeed sealed within the book, since the demon seemed to be missing bits of memories regarding the actual confinement. He even realized the journal had hints to how the seal can be undone, but the text had smudged off any writing that had continued after that. Deciding that this might be a chance to achieve greater power by unsealing the demon, Klug set off to find the items that were listed. He finds the items "lying around" much to his luck later that day, much thanks to Amitie distracting Lemres away from the items with a puyo match. Upon acquiring all the items, though he found himself confined to the book and the demon taking over his own body. The demon, going out of control from the sudden freedom, lost its mind and attacked those who approached him: Sig, Raffine, and Amitie, who were trying to find the items that Lemres was carrying before. Klug helplessly watched the fight and when Strange Klug was defeated, the seal undid itself and Klug found himself in his own body again. With no one understanding the entire situation, Klug decided to leave it as a horrible nightmare and didn't speak of it again.

Another chance to achieve his dreams came by again, when a competition was held in Primp. The winner could get any wish they wanted granted! He was going to use this wish to become the most successful wizard of all time and have his success be presented on a 16th spread on the monthly wizard magazine, Monthly Kuromage. He fights his way to the winner, and gets his wish of having his story be on the wizard magazine... If only he had wished that he could be successful, would this wish also be granted. Klug regretfully went back to his studying every day.

Until, that is, when a humongous mysterious powers started pulling the puyo along with some people into another dimension. The mysterious power turned out to be a space warp that was trying to flood another world with puyo. When he had realized this, he was already at the mysterious world. During his wandering around the mysterious world, he runs into Ringo, who was trying to look for a way to stop the puyo from flooding the world, and the two get into a puyo match. Klug was defeated, and upon seeing how determined she was to saving the world, decides to tell the possibility of stopping the space warp. He was left to do nothing until Ringo, along with Amitie and Arle, had achieved their goal and stopped the evil mastermind, Ecolo, from destroying the entire universe, and returned everyone to their original worlds.

Some more time passed again with Primp being a peaceful town. Then one day, a few stars fell from the sky above Primp. Those stars turned out to be the people who were originally in the different world that Klug and others had fell into the other time. Apparently, one of them had been doing an experiment that resulted in an explosion that was so strong that it created an inter-dimension portal to Primp's world... Or something like that. Klug didn't take note of that, since he was too busy trying to get a crystal orb that was said to be in the deepest point of the caves.

During his search, he ran into Amitie and Sig, who were curious about each other's mysteries: Amitie and her mysterious puyo hat, and Sig with his mysterious arm. Klug, not knowing the secrets behind the two, could only give a guess before shooing the two away so he could concentrate on his search. When he did find the spot where the crystal orb should be, he found a stranger creating a residence to live in. He tried to challenge the stranger into a fight to get the crystal orb, but was defeated. He was so close to obtaining more power...! Klug's immature side came out as he trashed the place before running out of the cave. As he wandered around, he ran into a mysterious tasty drink and drank it, causing him to fall into being drunk. He wandered around some more, beating everyone up until he runs into Ms. Accord, who (literally) beat him back into his senses. It was then he was told by the teacher that were was a school that he may be interested in.. a magical fighting school that teaches everything a student may wish to learn. It may be just what Klug needed for his step towards becoming a successful wizard! Klug immediately sets off to enroll into the academy.

Anything Else?:
- His birthday is September 29th, and his blood type is A
- He carries a red book in his hand at all times. He considers it a part of himself. This red book will be his NPC for if it ever gets another chance to be unsealed out of the book and turn Klug into Strange Klug
- The said book, has a demon sealed inside it. Unless you were to know what the book does, no one will know that it has a demon sealed inside it. Magic users may be able to detect that the book holds a mysterious power within it due to the demon's power, though. Sometimes you may see a red thing sticking out of the book at times.
- Klug's Nexus Wiki page
- He specializes in dark magic, mixed with cosmic elements, the latter possibly due to wanting to be someone powerfullike Lemres, a cosmic warlock. His powers mainly come from the same red book he carries all the time. He's very skilled at detecting magical items/powers and analyzing it.
- Some spells and magic stuff:
Initial chant: Gather...cosmic stars! Wind...into a galaxy!
Fossa: He creates some dark smoke. Any opponent who breaths in the smoke will get any of their "status" decreased momentarily.
Tectonic: He creates waves of energy in shape of shooting stars to shoot out at the opponent.
Stella Inerrans: He shoots out series of energy bolts in shapes of stars at the opponent from his hand, creating numerous small explosions at the opponent.
Ursa Maior: He casts open the book above his head and shoots out a series of stars aligned similar to the Big Dipper constellation and blasts them at the opponent.
Vis Attrahendi: He creates a ball of light that explodes into numerous colors as well as an explosion
Defectio Lunae: He creates an orb, one light and one dark, and the dark orb envelopes over the light orb, to resemble a lunar eclipse. This skill is used to counter any attacks.
- A "likes big chains" type of character. He tends to sit and plot of all the strategies to defeat his opponent.

In-Character 1st person writing sample (journal):
DR entry

Hm, compared to Primp, this place certainly is a lot larger... not that it should matter for me. The library for this school is huge! The vast knowledge will enable me to take a step towards my dream, of becoming a successful, powerful, wizard. Not only I can become a stronger puyo match wizard, perhaps I can manifest other kinds of magic as well!

...It sucks that Amitie's planning to come here too, though. I thought I would be the only one with special treatment! Hmph! Oh well, I guess it wouldn't hurt if it's just her...

In-Character 3rd person writing post:
Klug breathed a sigh of relief as he let a large stack of books lightly fall onto the table with a light thump as he sat down at a desk in the library. He admitted, he wasn't expecting such a large library at this school. The city seemed to resemble a bit like the mysterious world he had fell to a few months ago, except this city was a lot larger than what that other world had to offer. It was definitely larger than Primp, which was located almost in the middle of nowhere. Klug was definitely glad that he had taken up on this opportunity to study in a bigger school; bigger school meant it had more things to offer than the small magic school he attended to before.

As he opened a book, he couldn't help but let his slightly creepy laugh into the pages, unable to contain his happiness. This place will give him everything he needed to become a great wizard...
